Pre-move punch-list project
Several small work packages completed before a move-in — coordinated across providers so a punch list did not become a scramble.

01 The goal
Complete a set of small, unrelated pre-move improvements across several providers, coordinated to a move-in date, without the customer chasing each one.
- A dozen small items across several trades and rooms
- A firm move-in date
- New owners not yet living in the home — access by arrangement
02 Named participants
Every business expected on site is named before work begins — disclosure, not pre-verification by the Collective.
03 Work packages
Each package has exactly one accountable owner — never “the team.”
04 Sequencing challenge
A dozen small items across different trades would normally mean a dozen separate visits and no single owner — the challenge was grouping them so the whole list closed inside one short window.
05 Key decision
The items were grouped into two provider visits plus a final check, rather than booked one by one — so the punch list closed as a coordinated project against the move-in date.
06 A recorded change
One “touch-up” turned out to need a full wall re-finish. It was moved out of the touch-up package and written up as its own versioned change, priced and accepted before the work was done.
The budget presented the grouped packages as readable totals with the one change order added transparently — the owners saw one figure and one accountable payee, not a dozen small bills.

08 Result & sign-off
A whole punch list closed as one coordinated project before move-in — one plan, one owner, one record.
Completion. All grouped packages completed; the closeout recorded the final item list, the change order and the sign-off.
Deficiencies. Two remaining items were recorded as accepted exclusions the owners chose to defer, listed explicitly in the closeout rather than left ambiguous.
