01 The goal

Coordinate a deck repair, a fence and a site cleanup across parties sharing one narrow site, ending in a clean hand-off.

02 Named participants

Every business expected on site is named before work begins — disclosure, not pre-verification by the Collective.

Each package has exactly one accountable owner — never “the team.”

04 Sequencing challenge

Both providers needed the same narrow side access, and the fence work sat directly across the route the deck package used — so the two could not simply run in parallel.

05 Key decision

Sequenced access windows were disclosed up front: each provider had a named window on the shared site, agreed before either started, so the tight site never became a collision.

06 A recorded change

The budget carried the deck and fence packages as named totals with a small contingency the homeowner had explicitly approved — the footing change was drawn from it transparently, not silently.

08 Result & sign-off

A clean handoff and a signed-off closeout, with a shared site sequenced by disclosed windows rather than left to chance.

Completion. All packages completed; the closeout recorded the access sequence, the approved footing change and the final budget.

Deficiencies. One deficiency (a gate alignment) was recorded, completed by the responsible provider and accepted before sign-off.
